“The first essential track for this month was Chris and Cosey’s ‘Obsession’. The rest of the mix flowed from there, taking a sleazy industrial electro approach, with some twisted humour, courtesy of Tonetta.

The opening instrumental track by Lene Lovich, ‘Cats Away’, is music to fantasize about knocking over skyscrapers, Godzilla-style. Monte Cazzaza gives us a dance number resembling a slowed-down Faithless track, with words by Lydia Lunch. And Frank Tovey, a.k.a. avant-garde musician and performance artist Fad Gadget, is worth obsessing over, for his pioneering industrial pop sound and shaving foam-covered, pube-sprinkled, tarred and feathered performances.”
